Camel Ride To the us mortals, ancient Egypt seem bearers of some higher civilization whose sources lay in another world. While populations elsewhere, are still in their infancy, the Egyptians were groping their way out of the stone age into a civilization far more advance than the rest of the world. The legacy they left are grandiose testimony to the extraordinary civilization that flourished in the Nile Valley six thousand years ago. The Pyramids, up to this day, continue to baffled us.

The Nile river, on the other hand, was carefully harnessed to bring life to this isolated valley desert and ultimately turn it into a terrestial paradise. For thousand of years, it has been the only constant source of water to supply every need from irrigation to navigation, from water to wash in, to water to drink.

Egypt, was the gift of the Nile ... Here's my story (six thousand years later).
