The Great Flume Ride
|
|
July 9, 1994 - with Tom Mink, Billie
Sue Rogers, Julie Dittman, Ray Birchler, Mike Hester, Joey Salonga and Jeff Wellnitz.
One of the true "classic" Tahoe rides, a ride with magnificent views the entire way! You ride single-track trail on the abandoned flume line that follows the east side of Lake Tahoe, a thousand vertical feet above the lake. Mr. Toad's Wild Ride is probably Tahoe's next famous ride. The descent from Tucker flat is a technical test piece followed by some fantastic single track riding down the Saxon Creek drainage. Last Aug. 7, 1993, Ray and I ate lots of dirt on this ride! |

Stage 2 - Flume Ride
